This is quite a structure. Contains beautiful stained glass windows, magnificent alters and finally detailed statutes of the saints. The cathedral was closed the last time I was here due to construction so I was glad to see that it was available during this visit....More

This was such a pretty church to wander through. You are free to wander around when service is not being held. I found it to be bright and colourful.

Great church. Typically European style. Stunning to look at both inside and out. It was peaceful inside and lots of tourists

You will never believe how beautiful is inside. Looks "normal" from the outside but inside is another thing. Golden and white in a great enviroment. A must when you visit downtown.

The Catholicism and Judaism coexist in the 28 stained glass windows of Stars of David -- would that everyone would work together so well.

While touring the city with Carlos on our segways we stopped by the church. We did not go in, but Carlos informed us that there is a waiting list to use the church.

You can never get lost in Mazatlan since the twin spires of this cathedral are visible from almost everywhere. It's near the central market and downtown department stores. While sitting inside we had an interesting experience: an older woman carrying shopping bags entered from the...More

This incredible basilica was built over such a long time that it incorporates several different architectural styles. Take your time and enjoy inside and out. Don't miss the historically important organ upstairs, built in and shipped from Paris. My favorite time to visit is late...More

I am sure they do not do tours on Sundays since the cathedral is still in use daily. I would contact the cathedral directly to ask.

Taxi to the church will cost less than $20 US. No tickets needed. Unfortunately, I do not recall the mass schedule, but I suspect the desk personnel at your hotel will be able to advise you.

I don't know what time mass is, but a pulmonia is the most convenient way to get there. All the drivers know the cathedral.
