We had a bad experience with the restaurant - bar La Soldadita: There is a man fishing for people on the street telling you that La Soldadita is a place where you do not have to pay extra for anything additional such as the show....More

Got there with my 16yo son and we saw a guy beated up being helped by the local police and 5 minutes later we got intimidated by 4 crooked mexicans trying to rob us. I stood my ground and they chicken out. We left the...More

There is a place called La Soldadita or Mi Soldadita. Awful experience. I was with my girlfriend in the plaza when a man approached us saying that the other places in the area charge you for everything, including music, so we should go to his...More

Unfortunately there is nothing good about Plaza Garibaldi; specially a place called LA SOLDADITA, they are a band of robers; more than a dozen of “waiters” waiting to rip you off, they will charge you whatever they want, charge you for taxes and cover and...More

Every time I go to MC I'm saving one night for this place. There are a lot bars/restaurants where you could go and enjoy the music and the show. If you don't like the traditional mexican music - just walk through the Plaza, take a...More

Fun place to visit if you want to see and hear mariachi bands but it's on the edge of the historical district and the regular neighborhood. Evenings you will see homeless people hanging around so be aware of your surroundings!

This is still the place if you want to hire an entire Mariachi band and want to impress someone. Also several cabaret type places dedicated to Mexico, Mexican music and rhythm. Enjoyed far more by locals

Before going try to understand the venue for what it is. Dozens of mariachi bands are competing for your tip so expect to be harassed rather than be annoyed by it. The area is seedy so don't go there dressed up, don't drink too much...More

I don't know if we just went at the wrong time or what, but this was not at all as described or expected. I was thinking i might see some cheesy but authentic Mariachi bands, and add it to the stack of experiences. What i...More

Once you step into Coyoacán (“Land of the Coyotes”)
you'll find picturesque parks and cantinas that will

such as Trotsky and great painters like Frida Kahlo
seeked refuge and inspiration in this area, and you
can see the unique spirit of this neighborhood
reflected in its colorful market where nieves, sopes

Hola Phillip. Puedes cambiar dinero en Paseo de La Reforma. Allí encontrarás casas de cambio y bancos. Yo cambiaba dinero por el monumento al Angel de la Independencia. Espero que te ayude. Saludos
