My advise is to go there early in the morning (by cab, not with a tour). You will find yourself in the most amazing place with incredible views.

This site is one of two in the world, the other one is in Turkey. Prepare yourself to walk down quite a bit and consider the walk back up hill. The petrified water fall and the pools are beautiful and the location is unique with...More

Breathtaking view from the pools. It’s not too steep down to the pool but many steps to the Eye of the Pool.

The trip up is a bit treacherous but it’s definitely worth it! The prettiest place, so relaxing. The photos don’t do it justice!

We did this place as part of a tour, so we didn’t spend nearly enough time here. In spite of that, enjoyed the breathtaking views. Will definitely try to stay a couple more hours next time we’re there. It is out of the way, so...More

The Hierve has some beautiful calcite formations from the mineral springs as well as small pools to swim in. It's also a real adventure just to get there.

One of the most spectacular places you will ever see . A nice mini hike that takes it out of you. The air seems super thin . But the views are nothing short of spectacular !!!

This site was highly recommended, yet is very hard to access. The roads are unpaved and can be uncomfortable. Very hard to access the site if there is difficulty walking. We never made it to the actual site, had to view from rest stop above...More

Great views from the colectivo all the way from Mitla, this was my favourite part of the day. Hierve el Auga itself was less impressive that I expected and very busy. I would still recommend the trip though, especially for the views driving up and...More

We didn't take a cab, we took the bus from behind the baseball stadium at the corner near the McDonald's. It is green and is clearly marked on top as "Hierve el Agua." It was very inexpensive. It took us to the town of... More
