Although it’s out the season, the place is currently has many daily visitors, the sellers are very pushing. Food is poor and we recommend to skip; go to the south part!

We come to Isla every summer. Our hotel has a great beach but we still like to wade through the water toward north beach. Plenty of great spots to grab a drink on the beach

I have met people here from all over the world. They always say it is the only place in Mexico they would come back to. Not the best for tourists or night life only because they are not open late, not because the music isn't...More

We stayed at playa arena right on Playa Norte. We got out and explored the town as much as we could, but we felt like we were missing out by not being on the beach, so we wound up spending most of our time here....More

There are more sellers than tourists on this island be warned you won't get a minutes peace, you are constantly badged by sellers. If you want a peaceful island visit go to Holbox.

We had a wonderful week, swimming, snorkeling and enjoying the food. The weather was perfect, the friends that went with us had a great time too.

If you visit Isla Mujeres, walking along Playa Norte and watching the sunset is a must. Soft white sand, many places to eat and drink, chair and umbrella rentals are available for about $12 US (or less) all along the beach.

The catamaran trip would restrict your time enjoying all that Isla has to offer. I would take an early ferry, have breakfast and get a golf cart. You can rent a cart for the day from 800 to 1000 pesos. Make a list of every... More

We stayed at Paradise Suites. I believe that’s the best possible choice. It is awesome place just few meters away from the beach. Beautiful and practical facility, lovely staff. Highly recommended!
