This is a hidden gem, stop by, only takes about 1/2 hour. It is located right off the main walking street in Playa, I believe they are open 7 days a week. Has a 4 minute really odd, thought provoking/different film about her. Learning about...More

We didn't know much about Frida Kahlo, and we were glad that we got the free guided tour as he was very passionate and knowledgeable about her life. He explained the art works, and how her life is reflected in her art. It's only small...More

Great collection of installations that tell the story and dive into world or Frida Kahlo. I wish there were some actual works of Frida on display and that the experience was a little longer. What is on display is actually beautiful and inspiring.

The museum is interesting because it is about Frida, but the entrance fee is 240mxn which is so expensive compared with the entrance for Tulum ruins or other museums about Frida Khalo in Mexico city

Definitely get a free tour while you’re there, the person we had was so passionate and knew so much about Frida Kahlo’s life and her art. It has made us seriously consider going to Mexico City to see her house!

With a great audio tour for a small fee of 80 peso, this tour is a must for anyone visiting Mexico City. See some of Frida's exquisite art and learn about the beautiful Casa Azul's history. Going through the home is a step back in...More

This small museum is very interesting. It's kind of a digital museum, with creative ideas that distinguishes it from the regular 'just walk around looking at paintings' concept. We opted for the guided tour with the charming Zulay, one of the best tour guides we...More
