We did a quick stop at this glacier on our way to Jasper. We just viewed it from the road side lookout. It’s a great glacier. It got its name because it looked like a crows foot until one of the three toes broke off.

Best seen from the viewpoint about 10 miles north of Hector Lake. The glacier runs along the ledge at the top of Crowfoot Mountain. It has three prongs ("claws") that go down the side of the mountain. Cool view.
We were able to stop the car and have a look at the glacier. Great to see it with some mixed cloud coming and going. we did not go on a tour or a hike, but viewed this spectacular sight from the roadside.
