A very popular destination so be prepared to either arrive at the parking lot very, very early in the morning or figure on taking the shuttle bus from the off site parking area.  The shuttle bus drops you off at both Lake Louise or Moraine...More

Again a beautiful view on the lake Moraine, after a small climb of stairs. Stunning snowy views with a low sun. Very slippery after a fresh snowfall and a group of 60 people climbing the stairs. The view is worth it!

We arrived nice and early to ensure we got a parking spot. If you don't plan to get up early I would recommend the shuttle. We arrived around 9am in mid October and parking was easy. However this could possibly be due to the fact...More

We took the roam shuttle from Banff ($20 US for one adult round trip) in the advice of the hotel clerk who said that Oct 14 was the last day for the season to get to Moraine. However when we got there at 8:30am, still...More

On busy days they close eary but after the busy moments you can get back in after about 4pm. As october isnt full with tourism you might be able to just go in any time. Its not closing this season so far known
