Science World has had a renovation since my last visit in 2010! I'm impressed! Visited with friends who had a membership. We were treated to early admission (9:30am) and discounted admission. So we entered before the Sunday morning crowds. What a bonus! Really enjoyed the...More

This was the perfect way to spend a wet day. We arrived just as they opened at 10 so avoided the queues which I saw later. It’s all really hands on and so many different ways of learning. Potentially they need verbal explanations for kids...More

Officially the best museum I have been to! So clean, nice and well organized. Fun even for solos or couples with no kids! Definitely and by far I recommend the 5D imax.

My husband and I went by ourselves and it was nice. But would have been a lot better if our grand kids were with us. They would have loved all the different things there was to do..

We popped in here late one afternoon and found little to hold our attention. There was an exhibition about pets but the young helpers near the entrance couldn't point us in the right direction. We found it eventually and didn't learn much. I wouldn't bother...More

Many have written about what goes on inside, but the sophisticated traveler will note the "package" - the building itself - deserves a close look. This is a golf-ball looking structure, reminiscent of the geodesic domes of Buckminster-Fuller. At 36,790m3, it is not small! Original...More

My grandchildren live out of Vancouver and just love going to Science World when they visit Vancouver. This is a great place for children to visit.

I love the experience of watching the Spirit Bear on the Imax. It was breathtaking to see this beautiful and rare animal in its natural habitat. I only wish they showed more of the bear.

Yes! They allow photography throughout the building. The only exception is for some special exhibits (this is a rare occurrence).
