The old town of Victoria is right on the harbour and full of old buildings. Many great views of the harbour and close to downtown, shops, restaurants and entertainment.

The ‘old town’ IS downtown (esp. Inner harbour) area. The city is very strict n maintaining the integrity of the old town.. when possible m, the outer exterior is kelp in place when buildings are upgraded or rebuilt.

The geographical boundaries are kind of iff-y but it is generally accepted that below Chinatown lies the heart of "Olde Town" and the majority of the history extends down to Bastion Square and Trounce Alley on View Street. Early Victoria was a part of the...More

It is neat to see this architecture. The buildings are full of character. Lots of opportunities to see what the building is about. Easy walk. Kids didn't see the value in the history, adults had a great time. Enjoy, soak in the scenery.

Victoria is an old historic town with several stunning places to visit. You can walk around and window shop and view the booths of the local vendors all for free. The old buildings downtown are amazing. Wear good walking shoes.

Just start walking north. Old Town refers to the shopping area on the streets of Government, Wharf and Douglas.

No one address - it is the older parts of down town Victoria, Government and Wharf streets. Close to the Black Ball Ferry Terminal just north of the Empress Hotel.
