Another busy market, mainly selling foodstuffs but other things available too. Not far from the cruise terminal so it’s easy to get to

I have been to many markets. The idea is to get good deals on local and small batch things. NOT here!!!! The prices were very boutique-like high and for things not worth what they are charging. We were hoping to find a good deal on...More

You can get fruits and veggies, meats, maple syrup, home made crafts, paintings, jewelry, sweaters, food to go and already prepared foods, etc. The building itself is beautiful, also.

Had higher hopes for the crafters but found that things were a little too kitch for my taste. Didn’t find the fast food stalls to look too appetizing, but the sea food/take away place looked good.

Hurricane Dorian did put a damper (i.e. super-dooper wet blanket) on any excursions our first day. And then, when 24 hours of blinding rain and pounding wind finally stopped (and we ventured forth from our rabbit-warrens (i.e. ship cabins), we discovered (to our dismay) that...More

We were in town on a cruise ship port stop. We were walking around the city center and after walking through the King's Square, we crossed the street and entered the city market. Inside, the large hall has three aisles lined with vendors offering cooked...More

Yes on getting transportation. It's not very far to walk either. we walked around all day from the port. Taxi's, bus and I believe there's horse drawn carriages.
