We have been to Niagara on the Lake several times but always enjoy our stroll down the Main Street. It is packed with lovely shops and gardens. There is a statue of George Bernard Shaw across from the Theatre. The Old Court House still stands....More

I don’t think I have ever experienced a more magical setting than Niagara on the Lake! It was calm, peaceful, enchanting! I expected tiny little fairies to jump out from the many beautiful floral baskets and plantings along the sidewalks! The residents were cheerful. It...More

Niagara on the lake is a quaint colonial era town and the heritage district is well preserved. Lovely to just walk around and see the old buildings and lots of greenery

Small picturesque village, by lake Ontario. Full of cafeterias, bars and eating places. House drawn carriages is a nice way to go around.

This area is a delightful walk and shopping area. As far as the history of the area, who knows. There is a walking tour. The carriage rides are very high. People in the town are very nice.

Lots of shops, restaurants and bars to grab a beverage. There are many fine vintage hotels in the area if you wish to stay overnight. The wineries are a few miles away and you can arrange tasting tours easily enough. Lots of places to enjoy...More

Amazing how many people don't know of or miss stopping by this amazing village. It's almost too perfect...lots of up-scale shops vs the usual tourist trap type you might see in other tourist attraction areas. Do take time to drive the side streets and wish...More

I don't find this area to be touristy. It is quaint and comfortable. The landscaping is stunning, as are the buildings. The only thing you will notice is how busy it is, but again its quiet and friendly.
