This is a very pretty park with an interesting monument. It is very well kept and not as touristy as other parts of the Niagara region.

As a youngster my parents would take us to Niagara Falls. We would frequently stop at the Brock Monument. Recently, I revisited the Monument. It’s still as captivating as it was when I was young. Lots of history learned by being there. Worth a visit.

There is a tiny museum with some pamphlets at ground level, with the spiral staircase up. Not a bad, if tight, fit, but not really anyplace for a good picture at the top.

Kind of unexpected and forgotten attraction at Niagara Falls. Free parking is nearby. Apparently the thing is taller than Nelson's column in the UK. We thought it was very interesting and unusual monument for Canada. You can climb the spiral staircase inside the column to...More
