The main hall of this station is unquestionably beautiful. However, the station is really confusing to navigate-- it has been under construction for years and the signposts are unclear. Switching from the subway to another form of transport at Union can be a nightmare, especially...More

Everyone should visit this structure so they get a glimpse of what rail travel was like back in the day. There used to be stunning train stations like this in every major city.

A hub of activity. Loaded mainly with rail passengers who work downtown or connect with the subway system to go to another destination. The old rail building is similar to those central stations found in many major cities around the globe.

The station is served by buses, commuter rail, subways and Via Rail. It dates to the late 1850's. If you're taking to the train to Ottawa, you'll leave from here. We booked two senior business class tickets on train 40 leaving Toronto at 10:40 AM...More

This station is not only gorgeous, it’s utilitarian for even the most novice of travelers. Arriving, there was plenty of staff available to assist me with directions. One doesn’t necessarily need to ask as there are a lot of signs. There are postings that 300,000...More

The building itself is stunning and was an amazing place to explore - we stopped for a coffee to take in the architecture, especially the beautiful arched ceiling of the main hall. We also used the excellent GO train to leave the city for the...More

At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination
for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip

flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities,
with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to

Not sure about lockers. There is the Fairmount Royal York hotel, right across the street. Like all hotels they have luggage storage so they may be able to help you. Suggest you contact both Union Station and Royal York.

If you will go to Toronto's Union Station, there's a handy new food court, lots of seating, there. Just pick a place (near Tim Horton's or such)

There are buses but you want to research them as the schedule isn’t 24 hours - I would highly recommend the advice of a previous member, take the GO train as the bus will take a LONG time to get out of the city and region.
