We were here over the long weekend and it was really busy, which added to the atmosphere. You really feel the history of this neighbourhood and how the early settlers lived.

Our cruise ended in Quebec City so we stayed an extra day to explore. What an amazing city - reminded me of Paris! We started at the bottom and walked up to the City - amazing! Continue on the Governor's Walk to the Citadel -...More

Great place to lose an hour or two, wandering through the stunning history of this beautiful city. We went for a mooch whilst waiting to check into our hotel and it was delightful. Very busy with a cruise ship docked in the port, but felt...More

I really liked the historic old town. Shops were great. Not a good place for people with mobility issues, however. Seemed like every shop had steps to enter. There were many cruise ships in port the day I went and it did make things rather...More

Old world charm, rich in history, joie de vivre and a renowned gastronomy are just some of the reasons we like to come here as often as possible. Divided into what is known as Upper Town and Lower Town, the funicular below the Château Frontenac...More

The Old City is an absolute gem, well worth spending several hours wandering around visiting a range of sights, at night it has it's own unique atmosphere.

Very nice city. Loved it and recommend visiting. The Old City is terrific. We did the hop on bus. Watch out buying tickets from the person at the stand since our person added a tip without asking just for printing the ticket. Rip off.

Yes and they are not cheap, you can smell the horses everywhere in the Upper old town. I did not see any horses in the lower ville.

There is a parking garage at Hotel DeVille, which is a block away from the Chateau. There may be another parking lot next to the chateau as well.
