We were lucky to visit when it was open to the public in September and it was free. The place is huge and every corner is beautiful.

This is one of the oldest universities in the world with some famous graduates and is worth a visit as it has some superb buildings. The neighbour hood it is in has some lovely cobbled streets.

Be sure to visit from the side of Place de la Sorbonne for the nice view of the building. The cafes around are overpriced. You can continue walking on the Boulevard St Michel then.
