So this is the last winery in Paris. The story is that there is a huge wine festival once a year in the fall. I wasn’t there for that time of year. But it was cool to see.

The last vineyard in Paris is closed to the public except for a short time in October. It seems odd to find these plants in Montmartre.

One of the last remaining vineyards in Paris. It was interesting to see the remnants of this vineyard on the slope in Montmartre

I recently returned to the last vineyards in Paris where they produce grapes that make wine every year. Reportedly the wine is not all that good, but important historically. At one time there was a lot of wine production within the city limits.

One curiosity of Montmartre... a small vineyards in the middle of Paris. It’s producing every years a few hundreds bottle of a pour quality wine.

Yes, it's true. But everyone says that the wine produced from the last vineyard in Paris is not all that good. Still this patch of grapes in lovely in a wonderful neighborhood.

Well, I think I just found our answer on: wish you were here dot us then article forward le - clos- montmartre Sounds like we won't be doing this on our own unless we book thru a tour.
