We were on a tour of Nuremberg and walked through the market area. Lots of booths selling a variety of items. Surrounding the square there are outdoor cafes, gift shops and stores selling the beloved German Christmas cookie, lebkuchen.

My wife and I had a fun time shopping at this lovely market square. Lots of booths selling a wide variety of food and non-food items. Lots of great shops in the surrounding buildings also. Well worth a stop if you are in the area.

The square has been used for about 1000 Years. Visit the square and see the church and the market area. Fruit, vegetables, and clothes are available in the market. Try to be there when the glockenspiel operates about noon time.
