Seems to be a bit of a parody of its reputation now, most people I saw seemed to be on guided tours, or like me, gone to see what it was all about. Would only recommend if it's a place you want to say you've...More

Being Hamburgian, I have spent many many nights here, BUT: * During the day time there is nothing to see, just a long street with no charms * Hamburgians do not stay on the Reeperbahn itself, as it only offers the touristy table dance stuff...More

Unless your life quit having meaning in 1969, this is a total waste of time. Instead in your own neighbourhood find a row of porn stores, a few nightclubs and a brothel or two if possible, and you've got the Reeperbahn. It was probably great...More

We were participating in a guided tour to Hamburg while our cruise ship was berthed in the port of Kiel for the day. The tour took us to see various attractions located around the central city area of Hamburg. Towards the end of our tour...More

Big, flashy, noisy street full of pubs, party places and night clubs. You can get into a pub with only locals, which might look friendly, or not. We didn't have any problems, though. Also known by prostitutes on the streets, but we didn't try any...More

This area is full of many night life places including bars, clubs, shops, restaurants, cafes, and sex shops. It is an infamous red light area of Hamburg but you will feel perfectly safe walking here. There is even a walking tour around this area.

The Reeperbahn is Hamburg’s answer to Amsterdam’s Red Light District. Located in the St Pauli neighbourhood it’s an area full of bars, restaurants and strip clubs. We found an open beer garden called Spielbudenplatz. This square was surrounded by pop up bars and weird colourful...More

I would probably get nice meals elsewhere although I’m sure you can find a decent place somewhere around there. This area is strictly bars and partying. Some higher end hotels on the street have some nice food and... More
