A beautiful building which you can’t miss when visiting. Didn’t do a tour but didn’t feel it necessary; certain it would be great though. On a wet day it has a fabulous bar / restaurant which you can hide away in and while away the...More

It is great that you are allowed to enter this beautiful building. Even in late hours you can enter to the main hall and see some facts about what is done inside. There are also tours..

There are tours of the building in English, well worth doing. The building contains some beautiful and ornately decorated rooms and staircases. The tour was very informative and took about an hour.

We all take in the grandeur of Europe’s churches but it’s not often that a Town Hall can reach that level of architectural beauty. Hamburg’s Town Hall is one of the city’s main attractions in a town filled with architectural landmarks. And for only five...More

Even though (unfortunately) the guided tours had been cancelled on the day I visited, t is a beautiful place to visit. The architecture and history of the place will make your time spent there worthwhile.

The best thing about this place that it has very minimal security guards but a very peaceful atmosphere with a very unique architecture. Entrance is free and the fountain was giving very positive emotions to the visitors.

The Hamburg City Hall is the seat of local government and functioning administrative centre of the city. It's a beautiful Neo-Renaissance style building, accentuated by the many architectural sculptures of rulers and guilds. It's possible to enter the town hall and there are exhibition, although...More

It was quite surprising to see that you can visit the entrance hall. It does provide some interesting information on the building and an idea of its grandeur. Very much enjoyed the visit, short but sweet.
