Magnificent frontage to the train station! I must admit i walked past it first time thinking it couldnt possibly be a train station! Easy to buy tickets and very reasonable cost.

The Rossio train station is conveniently located in the Lisbon. We bought our Sintra tickets there and the people at the ticket counter were very friendly and helpful.

A gorgeous train station even if you are not taking the train. The walls, high and beautiful, are awesome. There are historic stories told with the tiles and they are so beautiful. Loved stopping there and enjoying the visuals. Quite a train station.

During our four day stay in Lisbon, we went to the Rossio Train Station to take a train to Sintra for the day. The station building’s façade fronting on to Rossio Square is delightful. It could easily be mistaken or a museum or an art...More

If you are in the vicinity you can admire the impressive facade but don’t make a special trip. You can also use the escalators up to the platforms as a way to avoid most of the hill on the way to Convento do Carmo.

As demonstrated in the photo a beautifully lit frontage with fine artbic detail. Gutted inside where there are some nice tiled murals along the platforms. There is a good restaurant/bar on middle level with nice views of the castle.

Looks good and historic but doubt anybody would put it on their bucket list. Otherwise is a fully functional train station with some homeless people hanging around the sides of the building. We used this station to get to Sintra for our planned day trip....More

A station with a beautiful entrance. From here you can go to the city’s around Lisbon for a good price. Not much to see on the station further.

A magnificent station designed brilliantly at least the facade is. Great piece of architecture. The station itself is clean and simple - not huge - you wont get lost!

A pending candidate to become a World Heritage Site,
Lisbon's downtown (the "Baixa Pombalina", or simply
