I was on a cruise ship touring Norway and I visited the ships museum. The Fram museum ( highly recommended ) is just across the road from the Kon Tiki museum. I was a child when Thor Hyerdal created the Kon Tike raft our of balsa wood and other nnatural materials and set sail

I loved this museum and I had no idea that six men took a voyage on a raft from South America to Polynesia Islands. This was a fascinating museum learning of all of the difficulties these men endured for 101 days. The crazy thing is that no one had any sailing experience!!!
