We visited the museum and were mesmerised by the various collections which highlight the different cultures prevalent in Oman. You can spend hours going through the stuff out there.

My family and I visited Bait Al Zubair on 03 June 2019 and enjoyed it. The entry fee is just right at OMR 1 and worth it.

This modern and attractive museum give a really nice overview of the history and culture of the area. I particularly liked the traditional attire display and the swords and weapons. Very interesting. Great gift shop and restrooms. Allow at least 1 hr.

Museums in Oman are generally very nice and interesting. Everyone is presenting the country, its development, people, life style, traditions, products and marvelous nature in a different view. Even if they seem to be the same, they are different.

Use GPS to get there. Billy easy to find. Should be allowed to stay in the US you should have no problem finding a place to park. There is a small entrance fee. Enjoy

There is a gift shop in Bait al Zubair. They have nice souvenirs which are nicely packed. They have variety and small items are reasonably priced.
