My wife and I visited on a weekday, not knowing about the Sunday folk festivals that other reviewers mention.

This museum itself is quite nice: it shows the history of the silk industry in the area. It's small and simple, but gives you quite a bit of information.

When we went in July the folk dancing started at 12 but leave time to buy tickets and visit the market stalls and get your complimentary drink!
Cillipi is very close to the airport so any airport bus would get you close.
