Get yourself here by bus or taxi and pay on entry. You certainly wont need a Guide. It is quaint little museum with cations in English, but the star is the folk show. Usually outdoors, we enjoyed just as much indoors. You cant get in...More

My wife and I visited on a weekday, not knowing about the Sunday folk festivals that other reviewers mention. Maybe that was the reason we were the only people there at the time, although there might be more of the Cavtat tourist information centre stopped...More

Wonderful Sunday morning entertainment. Great folk dancers. Plenty of seating and shade and lovely local crafts. The museum was small but informative.

This museum itself is quite nice: it shows the history of the silk industry in the area. It's small and simple, but gives you quite a bit of information. But there's something even better: the Cilipi Folklore show, which takes place every Sunday morning from...More

Dubrovnik would have never become rich without the Konavle region that produced the food for the city – meat and vegetables. Hence, the farming region has also developed some wealth which can be seen from the houses and the traditions in the villages, e.g. silk...More

For some inexplicable reason, TripAdvisor does not list the Čilipi Folk Festival. Several reviewers mention this festival in the context of the Konavle Museum, which is included in the admission price for the festival. On Sunday mornings hundreds of people show up for the festival....More

Spent the afternoon in Cilipi as this is the town my family is originally from. Small town with a nice little square and church, the museum is located across from the church. Two levels with plenty of information on local traditions, clothes, etc. Anyone interested...More

When we went in July the folk dancing started at 12 but leave time to buy tickets and visit the market stalls and get your complimentary drink! Cillipi is very close to the airport so any airport bus would get you close.
