A fascinating place to observe the passing parade and buskers of every type. Paths lead to the Opera House, the Museum of Contempory art and the city. A crossroads of visitors and ferry commuters alike.

Nice port area in a very good central location. It’s a very functional area with commuter ferries coming in and out all the time. It’s also superbly integrated with the rail system which is right at hand. The fun thing too are the views of...More

Sitting right on the harbor by the Opera House it has mostly eating establishments for just about every taste. A lot of tourists are there during the day, but they say locals come in after dark.

I love to appreciate art. In particular street art. People who you dont know who are, their country, etc. You can see artists around Circular Quay.

We spent a lot of time here. So much to see and do, but also very picturesque. The harbor is amazing, but the architecture of the surrounding buildings adds so much to the feel. Great place to people watch, shop or grab a bite and...More

The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and
sailors from the old nation. As the oldest
neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone
streets host more than 100 heritage sites and
buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney,
Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi
“ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the
waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The

We have always used and highly recommend Apex Car Rental in Darlinghurst. Cheapest for hire costs, zero excess and cars are new. Easy to catch a taxi there!!
