The area around Pirates Bay has a lot of spectacular points of see ot the ocean. You have just to walk around, stop and just looking in the direction of the sea.
We stopped here during the day and discovered that there were penguin nests and footprints on the beach. We came back in the evening and sat very still and quiet on the beach and waited for the penguins to come in at dusk. One came out from the nest behind us to call and we saw…
Spectacular coastline, including devils kitchen and Tasman Arch. The Tessellated Pavement is very unique and a must! Unforntunately not many facilities for campers close by, you have to travel furth is a bit dissappointing.
This lookout is a quick little stop for a great view. The little road leading to the view is interesting as well.
Pirates bay is Magnificent. It is lovely to just drive around this bay and look in amazement and then to actually walk around it is stunning. You will not be disappointed with the raw beauty this place has to offer.
