Well cared place, and great to see that they are actively involved in wildlife rescues and rehabilitation. Pretty hard to get to using public transport but the experience was worth it.

It’s not a large sanctuary. But they had Kangaroos to feed and after being to Australia many times, this is the first time I have seen so many Tasmania devils. The kids even got a chance to see a wombat up close during the free tour.

The view that you have of Mount Wellington while you interact with beautiful native animals is amazing. We did the wombat encounter and Rhonda was the sweetest girl and so beautiful. The kangaroos were all over just lasting about and Tasmanian devils were one of my favorites.
