Our Journey took us from Christchurch to Franz Josef Glacier. Along the way we were treated to beautiful scenery. The train has a great food service and the seats are roomy and comfy.

You have booked at the wrong time. We managed to get $99 fares in mid winter. A spectacular journey. We did the return trip because our main focus was the train. If you dont want to train both ways definitely pick up a car... More
