The beauty of this one is you get to see the effects of years of weather that has shaped the gullies. This is one of the few stops along the way were coaches/buses actually stop so a lot more tourists here than say Lake Marian....More

Nice walk from the car park to the chasm water fall. It is on the way between Milford Sound and Te Anau (closer to Milford). The water fall is an absolute beauty where you can see how the water has carved intricate holes and passages...More

A good place to stop en route to or from Milford Sound. A short walk through native forest takes you over the rushing river with great views of the gorge and pot holes ground out by the rocks.

All expectations exceeded. We thought we were stopping for a look at trees, and maybe a rock, but the loop walk (20 minutes) delivered spectacular and jaw dropping scenery, waterfalls, and a chasm worthy of its name.

We had this recommended by several folk in Te Anau and WOW I'm so glad we stopped. The water rushing down through the massive rock holes is extraordinary. Take your camera!

Great walk with varied scenery. Doesn't take long. Defs worth the stop. Bit of uphill but a good track and nice sturdy bridge over the chasm

We had a short stop here on our way back from Milford Sound. A beautiful forest walk, it was drizzling slightly which added to the magical ambience this easy walk offers. The Chasm itself is a wonder of nature. Kids will enjoy this walk too.

We loved our short, easy walk (15min) to see the Chasm and the waterfall. Definitely worth a visit. Fun for all ages.
