Our tour of the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park consisted of 2 very full days, lots of bus travel and one night at Sails hotel. The tour was expensive with overpriced items: eg $5 for a small bottle of cold water and $6.50 for a Weis bar, from places where we stopped for toilet

Dont go here without a flynet or you can buy one at the resort - you will be so annoyed by the flies but its well worth the trip! Do a day tour out to the rock and walk around if you can - walk up the the olgas its a nice hike around 3km not too harsh

We spent 3 nights in the area and explored throughout. So much to see and do here. Hiked around Uluru and did a couple of hikes at Kata Tjuta. Enjoyed a heli flight to see the area from above. The scenery is simply spectacular and changes with the different times of the day as
