Kata Tjuta is very different from Uluru and a must see. The hike to the Valley of the Winds provides some great scenery and lookout views. Lots if loose ricks so ensure foot placement and don't overestimate your health or fitness abilities. It will take you longer in the heat

I did the walk from the entrance to lookout #2. It's a moderate hike with a couple of difficult climbs, but was quite enjoyable with great views along the way. The two lookouts are excellent and give you nice perspective of the grandeur of this place.

Unfortunately it was a hot time of the day to be doing this walk and hotter weather than normal (35 degrees) so it was a bit disappointing for the effort. There is no shade along the way so make sure you fill your water bottles. We just went to the first lookout which was a 40
