This was an absolutely amazing experience! But make sure that you’re prepared with the proper clothes and shoes - you will be scrambling up rocks and swimming against rapids. Make sure your shoes are tight-fitting and waterproof (the one size fits all shoes at the...More

This was an amazing experience, with some impressive scenery along the way. I thoroughly enjoyed it and think it’s well worth doing it whilst in Jordan. However, there were quite a few plastic bottles wading in the water when we visited. I think this is...More

Only seen this wadi from the mountains, but this is a very impressive view. Nice stop to visit during your drive from Amman to Petra.

We went with two couples at the beginning of October. The water was quite low in general thus you really don't need any guide. It's not difficult at all for anybody with basic fitness. You only have to be careful when coming back as the...More

There are some really helpful reviews on here about what to expect, but I just thought I would add that although it opens at 8, that's the time the staff arrives, and not the time they start accepting payment and letting people into the canyon...More

First up, don't bring anything with you that is loose. No sunglasses, no wallet, no phone. If you must take stuff, then hire one of the wetbags they have available there for 10JD. And don't try to carry stuff - you need both hands free....More

We did this hike in about 2 hours, venturing all the way to the end. We're older, but fit. AT the beginning the water is shallow. As you go it gets a little deeper. There are a couple of points where it might be slightly...More

Very nice gorge with variety of options to go for, most of visitors goes for regular route, which requires swimming skills. Since treks include going into water, it’s a good idea to bring appropriate clothes, which dry up fast (forget cotton). Crocks would come handy...More

In October water level was pretty low. And the only part where you had to swim (just a few meters) you will find ropes to help you moving on. So no worries...and with life jacket it's a lot easier.
