The art itself offers no joy or insight and there are many better vantage points if you want a panorama of the city.
We walked up the hill, and stopped off to take photos, lovely views, the metronom is disappointing as it is vandalised and not working. The views are brilliant though, as are the red squirrels,
The Metronome was completely taped off/barricaded off with police monitoring, could only walk around the outer perimeter. Graffiti everywhere. Views were decent, probably much better from the platform itself but we couldn’t get up there. Took a few pics and went to the beer…
I was looking forward to visiting this but was sadly dissapointed. The area is covered with awful scribbled graffiti (and i am a graffiti lover!), the metronome itself has nothing explaining what it is, and it doesnt do anything. Some good views of the city from around it though
To get to the top is around 300 stairs. All the way up is full of ugly graffiti (don't expect art, just gang graffiti with obscene words and stuff) And once on the top the metronome is a disappointment. The view is fine but I think is way better from the library observatorium…
