Lovely setting in cave type environment with good food. Unfortunately visit was ruined by ignorant rude manager of bar downstairs. Unhelpful and a big deterrent for visitors.... will never return!!

Made the trip on the no22 tram and found the brewery complex a few minutes walk up the hill. We had to wait for 20mins for a table and ended up on an outside one which was fine with blankets and heater. The beer was very good with us having the ‘anti depressant beer’. Food

We had our lunch here, food was good and so was the beer. Not overly expensive, good service from the guys, helpful and cheery. A nice place for lunch after a long walk round the castle.

I don’t recommend this pub. Waiters were drunk and very rude. For the price of meal and drinks there is very unprofesional and arrogant service.
