Beautiful gardens to sit and relax in and observe the locals, lots of school kids were being brought to see the memorial, pretty fountains, swans, ducks etc.

Suspect much better in the summer when in full bloom. Well kept large park and great for a stroll. Between my hotel and old town so a pleasant route. Large fountain and other monuments at the old town end

Used the park as a shortcut between places I wanted to see. What a fine walk. First public gardens in the city but well maintained. Unknown soldier graves always a stirring moment with their stiff honor guards.

This was near my hotel so I walked through one day intending to cut through on my way to Old Town. I am so glad I did! The sculpture garden is beautiful and the flowers were all in bloom. Definitely recommend.
