Really beautiful bridge, nice town. Possibility to spend nice day, with coffe on a teracce, small park or just walking throught.
Visited Tavira and enjoyed the shops and the views. Lovely bridge. Well worth jumping on the train from Faro to visit.
This was a very cute bridge and adds a lot of character to a walk across the river. Wear good walking shoes since the it is a bit rough with cobble stones.
We were told by multiple people that Tavira was the prettiest town in the area and we were glad we listened! We stopped through after having lunch in Lagos and wished we had just come straight here. The bridge connects two old sections of the city but the neighborhoods…
Very old bridge which is one of 2 which connects Tavira across the Rio Gilao. Worth walking across as its takes you to a lovely part of Tavira with small alleyways, shops, and more places to eat.
