My friend I spent an enjoyable couple of hours traversing this trail. It require moderate effort making unsuitable for some families, children and adults. One needs to pay attention to the trail markers, but it was part of the fun. I would not chose this...More

Fisher Towers hike is a gem off the beaten path. A moderate journey through a varied landscape with beauty at nearly every turn, we didn’t want the hike to end. Under the control of the Bureau of Land Management, it is well taken care of....More

Go up as far as you want--this is an out and back. The trail is challenging so bring some hiking poles and wear good shoes.

Moab generally and Fisher Towers specifically is amazing. You can't really get an idea of how breathtaking this is until you are there looking at it.

Great trail, however, we and 4 other random people missed the first right hand turn coming out of the wash. We walked for about 20 minutes before the women in the group all agreed that major boulder scrambling was not part of the description for...More

We (family with high school and middle school aged boys) were in Moab this year for spring break with my parents (both in their 70's). This was our first hike as we drove in on 128 toward Moab. We ended up hiking about 3 miles...More

The hike is not to strenuous. 2.2 miles from the parking lot to the end, it has it's ups and downs. There is the hikers trail, and a climbers route. Something for everybody.

I would say Yes. Just drive slowly. It's not that far off the highway to the Towers. It is dusty as heck!
