Wide River and in some place still has the appearances of being untamed. Down by the Memorials you can just sit for hours on a warm day and appreciate.

we took a river cruise, it was an enjoyable few hours. the river is calm so it is nice sailing, pretty views. lovely thing to do to relax on a summers day.

We paddle boated down this river. It was a beautiful sight seeing the cherry blossoms in bloom. The river and everything around it is very picturesque.

Enjoyed a stroll along the river with the cherry blossoms almost at their peak. It is humbling to view the majestic monuments to our great presidents, Washington, Jefferson, and Lincoln from this vantage point. the monuments are especially stunning at night.
