The United States Memorial is very impressive with its semi-circular enclosure of buildings, Lone Sailor statue, two towering masts, bronze sculptures depicting Navy history, and fountains representing the seven seas and the 5 American Great Lakes. Relaxing place to sit, enjoy the day, and rest...More

I was expecting a little more with this memorial. The fountains surrounding the memorial are pretty. Not much to see in the way of a memorial.

This Navy Memorial honors everyone who served in a US naval capacity. I entered my submariner husband in the Navy Log there so that his grandchildren, great grandchildren and those who come after will be able to connect with him and who he was, in...More

We had looked forward to this, USN HQ and as Jack Nicholson said, seeing them in their 'faggoty white uniforms'. However it all went wrong, so lessons learnt. It cost us $100 taxi ride from Washington DC to Annapoilis. But hey make sure you take...More

When there's not much going on, there's not much to see, but otherwise it's a good place to visit. It's relatively quiet and it's free to visit the museum (this does have lift access).

It's right outside the metro escalator so it's easy to get to. But if you have a Navy veteran with you it's a great place for a photo!

Good to have the family see to honor the veterans from the Navy. it only takes a few minutes to visit, but a good stop on your way between the Capitol and the mall.

The Navy Memorial and Heritage Museum is the place to learn about all things Navy. It’s a great tribute to the Navy past, present and future. Interactive displays, videos, books, a theater and more. As we say in the Navy, “Well Done!”
