We'd been to the original downtown location, crammed into an older building, two years ago - when the '007' exhibition was mounted. This new purpose-built space brings a lot of spy history from the 'old' and adds a lot of 'new' techno-gadgetry for a nice mix....More

All museums in DC are COLD. Understand they are protecting the displays. We were on sit down scooters in this museum and had no issues with navigation. Plenty of room. Though we opted not to do the activity that came along with admission. Happy to...More

Hello Agent Casper684, Thank you for visiting the Spy Museum and providing intel on your experience. I am glad you pointed out that the Undercover Mission is optional and guests don't have to do it. Along with the mission, you have two floors or 25,000...More

This museum is state-of-the-art and high tech. It was very informative and has a lot of fascinating information. We didn’t have much time there but I’m sure we will return!

This was a cool place to kill time. I really enjoyed the artifacts and some of the stories from actual spies. They do have a lot of cheesy stuff (kids seem to like it). If your looking for somewhere to go on rainy day or...More

Was wondering if this was more targeted at kids than adults but definitely not! Lots of very cool info to see and read! Very much worth the time spent! Learned a ton of stuff!

Very advanced museum that is still kid friendly, I feel it’s hard to do both. Self guided tour each room had more and more information activities and videos to watch and everything was super interesting.

While this place is not huge (like so many other Washington DC Museums...), it's still packed with content. The only floors with exhibits are 4 & 5...but we ran out of time for those two in spite of our 3 hour visit. (The Lobby &...More

I was pleasantly surprised how much I learned here. Real life James Bond stuff, missions in Afghanistan, spies throughout history... you would expect that to be here, and it is. But there's also a lot about electronic snooping, double agents, traitors like Aldrich Ames, and...More

We came here for a visit and really enjoyed it. It is incredibly informative and interesting. It was also a lot of fun. There are several activities you can participate in that link to your secret identity you are issued when you arrive. This makes...More

We loved this fun museum. So much great information and so many fun activities. We spent about three hours exploring and solving mysteries. The museum was not crowded but we still had difficulty getting to try all the activities as many people just sat in...More
