We had a wonderfully enlightening tour at the National Gallery of Art Renaissance to Impressionism. My husband, son, daughter, and grandmother all enjoyed this tour. Our highly skilled tour guide was the consummate professional; he educated us regarding the subtle nuances of various Masters of...More

Adventures for Creative Tourists scammed me and at least 7 other tourists coming to DC to receive a guided tour of the National Museum of African American History. We paid $60 plus fees for the tour which was supposed to go from 10am-1pm. The tour...More

Hi Chris, Sorry for your experience. It has been a massive disappointment for us as well. Emmanuel was supposed to get auhtorization to run these tours, but he did not. The Museum gives authorization to individuals not companies. He lied to both of us. He...More

This was a great tour for our family to take. He was very engaging and fun to listen to. You can tell that he loved the art that he was talking about. He showed different symbols and what the artists were trying to communicate that...More

It was really fun! The guide knew a lot about the building and looked up answers to any questions he didn't know. The tour had some fun gems like a really old Spiderman comic, details about different authors and artists, and a look at some...More

Our fantastic guide Ella gave us a whirlwind tour of over 15 murals in the U Street Corridor. I doubt I would have ever found this fantastic street art without her guidance. She provided background on the mural artists (muralists), the inspiration for the paintings...More

Excellent guide. She knew the history of the area by heart. Started at the African American Civil War Memorial and took us from murals of famous jazz players to Ben’s Chili Bowl commisioned portraits of the Obamas and others. I highly recommend this tour.

An enlightening and absorbing tour of this museum . Instead of drifting through and nodding at the art we were given an opportunity to learn about the stories behind the picture. Excellent tour by Stephen Mead. Would thoroughly recommend this.

We did a tour and it was totally worth it. There is a tunnel between the capitol and the library with shorter security for the capitol. The Supreme Court is also worth a visit and only foot steps away

Hi Lori, There is no expressed entry into the capitol unless you are staff. Everyone has to go through security. The line isn't long and goes very quickly.
