About
This is an intriguing geographical spot where the ocean has undercut the lava and drilled a hole through to the top.

This was part of my combined tour and we only spent 20 minutes there but it was enough to capture many beautiful photos.

Went there a few times before I ever saw any hole blowing.... I think the stories about this location are better than the actual blowhole... Like the clown who sat on it and got a surprise

If you’ve not seen a blowhole before it’s worth a stop. Otherwise keep on driving! So much to see on the island.

While it's based on the direction and strength of the waves, this was an quick fun stop that didn't disappoint. We ended up going twice and the second time got some bigger geysers for lack of a better word. You can also see the Amelia...More

Halona Blowhole is a lovely stop on the coastal highway near Makapuu Lighthouse. The lookout has been nicely built but the parking lot could be crowded sometimes. The blow hole action could be hit or miss depending on the wave action. But the scenic view...More

Yet another great quick stop along the coastal trip. Parking can be full but people come and go fairly consistently and you shouldn't have to wait more then a few minutes to get a spot. It may take you a few minutes to actually see...More

Going to visit the Blowhole was literally the highlight of our trip. I have never seen a place so beautiful in person. My children had an amazing time, we literally could have spent the entire day at the blowhole and the cove right off the...More

This was a fun short experience but beautiful crashing waves and the blowhole was really "steamed up". We stayed quite a while and got some good video. Only complaint is they need twice as much parking. It could be a hazard on a really busy...More

This place shoulders a scenic lookout - so there is parking there - but, the actual blowhole is not really accessible. There is a make shift path but it is steep and there is a sign that says basically to NOT WALK past the sign!...More

Went early so missed the crowds. Wind was blowing in that day so the water was shooting pretty high up. Very good overlook of the waves crashing all along the coast line. Didnt climb down to the beach. Some great views and photo ops. Beautiful...More

You should be able to get on the next one coming, maybe 5 minutes tops. We walked up and down. Very steep, but paved road, good exercise.
