A country that I suggest to visit is Algeria, in its capital, Algeri you could appreciate a lot of attractions, but the Casbah is enchanting.

Taken on a guided tour of the casbah brought the whole area to life. There us a simple museum in the centre which explains the life of some people who took refuge there. French speaking museum guide is enthusiastic. Thanks

If you have a hobby of a personal walking tour, it's a place place to do it, you have to have a strong health to clump a hundreds of stairs.

We booked a tour through Nboujiw agency, a young team that made the visit interactive for my kids. Lot of palaces where unfortunately closed for renovation. And surprisingly, we weren’t allowed to visit the mosques !

Unfortunately in bad shape, but very nice old architecture that makes you travel into the past. People are very nice and welcome. Recommend a visit with a guide.
