A nice looking train station with a grand exterior. Quite modern and not complicated. KFC, McDonald and Starbucks are there with other food outlets. Did a day return to Cassablanca. Train was clean and comfortable and punctual.
I was quite surprised by the train station when I arrived. It is quite modern and has excellent facilities. Tickets are easy to buy and they have staff manning the automated machines just in case of any questions.
The station is very modern. With that comes some great benefits, even if you lose a little charm.
There are a handful of restaurants and a McDonalds and KFC........ They get everywhere don't they.

First and second class carriages were very dirty. The toilet on board the train was disgusting. It obviously had not been cleaned for quiet some time and the smell was unbearable. The was a faucet but no water was available for washing hands.
The public restrooms are free, clean and functioning, and there was even toilet paper available, which you don't always find at restrooms in Morocco. Taxis are available at the curb out front.
