If you have time for only one excursion, I suggest this one. I did it through my hotel and it was 3.5 hours R/T. Perfect if you only have one afternoon to spare before departure. Excellent history experience.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and the history was so intense and a huge eye opener, so much that we were inspired to return back to live in Africa. We love Senegal so much.
