Jerash is stupendous. Roman ruins will take you centuries back. The entire place deserves a must must visit and it will take 3 hours to enjoy every nook of it.

Really beautiful site... we came here by car, wandered around whole afternoon. Afternoon is great for taking pics, coz there are less tours and the light has its magic. Leave at least 3 hours

One of the largest and best preserved ancient military towns, Roman Jerash reputedly had a population of 15000 people. The layout is classical Roman town/fortification and many of the buildings were enormous. It is a very large site (without shade, be warned!). Signage is good...More

Jerash was pretty cool but after a while the excitement did wear off. There’s absolutely no shade on the oth so would recommend wearing a good hat and bringing heaps of water if visiting in the summer

Unbelievably impressive, extensive remains of Roman city. Absolutely on par with Pompeï. Very well preserved. Do not miss it!!

Such a beautiful roman city! The ruins stand at a big percentage and not a guide needed! A must see in middle east!

The ruins at Jerash are incredible. I’ve been to Italy many times but this, as a concentration of ruins, gives the best use of how a Roman city would have looked. You really get a feel of what it would have looked like.

Sorry, we were there for a day trip. So I do not know the answer. I can say we enjoyed ourselves while there. There is a great light show in the Old City in Jerusalem.
