We visited at sunset! Best time as the heat was less. Wonderful to walk around the whole fort to see the extensive historical place. A must when visiting Bahrain.

Was on a day tour so didn't get long to visit. A quick whistlestop tour. Interesting to pop in to. Would liked to have stayed longer.

I didn’t know hardly anything about the pre European history of the area which I do now. The museum is a great place to start your visit followed by a walk around the fort. Everything has been well maintained and information boards are very helpful....More
