Rather reluctantly, I visited the Louvre Abu Dhabi and walked away content. The museum brings glimpses of art from all over the globe and from various periods of human history in a beautiful and accessible setting.

Wonderful building. Some of the exhibit labels at floor level and difficult to read, especially with vari or bifical glasses. Also lighting on some paintings make viewing difficult due glare.

Taxi is the most convenient way. They are plentiful, it should cost you no more than 25 dirhams each way and there are always taxis outside once your visit has ended
