Nice to see some of the heritage. Nothing much to see or do. Nice access to the water on the back of it. Some ancient tools on display as well.

If you like history, it is an interesting stop. Shows you the way of life, way back when. Not a lot to do or see, but worth a visit if you like that sort of thing. There is a desert display, again, nothing fancy, about...More

The heritage village is managed by the Emirates Heritage Club. It is a very busy heritage outlet with a museum, mosque, traditional goods souq and a crafts center where the craftsmen prepare their items and display for sale. A traditional mosque is there for the...More

A good place to learn of local history, and ancient village architecture. Before oil, many villagers earned their living by collecting pearls, irrigation management, and through other crafts and activities.

My feet were burnt by the hot sand - that is how people lived. The heat was overpowering on the day we visited but I guess August is hot. The irrigation garden was nice to see and the live stock. Small museums give interesting history...More

I would do a trip to Qasr Al Hosn... its in the heart of town and has a lot to offer. You could always do the Heritage Village in the evening. The village is interesting, but the Qasr has more to offer.
