This was one of the most beautiful churches I have ever seen. It is very unique and I enjoyed seeing the blend of middle-eastern style with Christianity.

Don't miss this church and all it signifies. The history, the architecture and how all of the artifacts and changes over the years have managed to work together to mesh into what is there today.

The hanging church gets it name from being built over Roman fort. You and view the fort under the floor in couple of places. The fort extends outside the church. There are 110 icons dating back to the earlier days of the Egyptian church.
