This mosque is a great example of art work during early Islamic era. This is the first mosque built in Cairo, so you really feel like walking in history's footsteps. Women can also enter and they provide coverings.
This was the first Mosque built in Cario. It has been greatly expanded over time. Coverings for women are provided. Women can not enter during pray times.

This is by far one of the most atmospheric mosques in Old Cairo. It combines shrines, madrassas, a bimaristan, and wonderful Islamic architecture. A must-see.
